It sparked a lifelong passion that turned into a competitive dance career with multiple national, international and world championship titles. After retiring, he launched a series of dance competitions, including the Millennium Dancesport Championships, which grew into the largest event of its kind in North America. Michael is also an award-winning choreographer and coach, developing countless dancers around the world into national and international champions.
